BURWELL & DISTRICT HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

Last updated 3-Sep-2025

B&DHS's membership covers our affiliation to the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners (NSALG) which includes a quarterly magazine and free legal advice; participation in the Suttons Seeds discount scheme which gives 40% off seeds and 10% off other items all year round; discounts at local nursery Simpsons and at Hedgehog Plants at Risby Barns.

Membership is open to all gardeners in Burwell and district whether they have a back yard with flower pots or a full-sized allotment plot. To join us costs £15 per household per year from 1st April to 31st March.

B&DHS aims to represent the interests of gardeners and allotment holders by promoting the benefits of gardening generally and organizing activities of interest to members as well as forming a community that will develop and protect the allotment site into the future.
